About Me

Hi. My name is Samantha Leon.

Did you know that the brain processes stories in the same way that it processes lived experiences? That's why I love PR. Because meaningful stories are at the heart of every successful relationship between a brand and its stakeholders.

My story? I'm a Florida girl -- sixth-generation -- who can't handle the cold, unless we're talking ice cream. I'm a proud Double Gator, with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a Master of Arts in Mass Communication. If I could have stayed at UF forever, I would've. Go Gators!

I'm a communicator with expertise and experience in both agency and institutional settings, and I am an advocate through-and-through. Perhaps that's why I end up talking PR with almost everyone I meet. If they tell me about an idea they believe in, my internal advocate kicks in, and the brainstorming begins. From figuring out a person or business' brand personality to encouraging them to consider long-term communications objectives, it is my passion to kickstart the PR process and get people to think about building the stories and relationships that matter.

Ultimately, I believe I bring old-school professionalism and goal actualization to the trendy, fast-paced world of public relations. I bring ideas to life through polished content that cuts through the noise — on social media, in print and in action.

In my free time, I test new recipes, organize drawers, listen to podcasts, brush my Shih Tzus and plan imaginary vacations.
